Born and raised in East Lansing, Michigan. During my middle school and high school years I developed an affinity for architectural design. I was accepted into the prestigious Frank Lloyd Wright Residency Program at Falling Water, PA.
I incorporated my love for architecture and music into designing and building high-end acoustical speakers that lead to installations in homes and churches in the early 90’s.
Fast forward to 1996 I moved to Atlanta, GA and shifted my focus working in graphic design/production and ultimately production management at Kinko’s until their acquisition by FedEx. I moved to Raleigh, NC in 2003 and worked in commercial printing production management. Due to my knowledge and love of wine I was approached and offered a management position with Total Wine & More - the largest alcohol retailer in the country and managed a portfolio of over 8,000 wines.
I also have the honor and privilege of being a recurring guest on “The Wine Fellers” radio show for a couple years. We discuss pairing wines with cheeses and food. Yes, I’m a “foodie”, wine enthusiast and collector. In addition, I have a passion for visual presentation. I love to combine an incredible gastronomical experience with a beautifully displayed plate. Pair with a complimentary wine.
