With more than 20 years in the exhibit industry and nearly 30 moves among seven major regions in my lifetime, I tell people I am a bit of a mutt…a product of all those experiences. Born in Cheyenne, I have lived in Pittsburgh (twice), Las Vegas, Wilmington, Raleigh-Durham, Atlanta, Denver, and now again in Raleigh-Durham. My career began in a small shop where I learned account and project management and when we were busy, I filed laminate, built crates, loaded trucks, and carried a tool bag to the show floor. Since then my motto has been, “What do you need? I’ll do it!”
My career has always included taking care of customers whether it was account services and sales or project management, but I have never forgotten the lessons of understanding each and every role in the successful delivery of amazing exhibits and experiences. Every individual and discipline plays a part.
I spent 16 years with one of the industry’s leaders working on all types of projects, big and small, with all sizes of customer organizations and some of the most talented team members and partners anywhere. I take pride in finding new and innovative ways to share what I have learned with both customers and colleagues, leveraging my education in PR and Marketing with all my varied experiences in this crazy industry.
